There has been increase in ACN prices due to limited supply from regional suppliers. Buyers are well off with their contracts and there has been limited export of chemical from China market. This situation is likely to extend to the next month as well.
CFR China prices for ACN were assessed at the level of USD 990/MT. Many ACN across the globe has restarted their operation.
China based Jiangsu Sailboat has restarted its two units with combined capacity of 5,20,000 mt/year in the first week of August. Shandong Hill will start its unit in the first week of September. Shanghai SECCO is operating its unit after a week long maintenance in the month of August.
