LG Chem is likely to shut to shut its aromatic unit in the month of November. The company said this shut down is brought in accordance of changing a catalyst in the unit. Although, the company has not declared the exact date of shutdown. Unit is based at Yeosu and has the production capacity to produce 2,40,000 mt/year of Benzene, 54,000 mt/year of solvent grade Mixed Xylene and 96,000 mt/year of Toluene.
