Asahi Kasei planning to shut its SM plant for maintenance turnaround. The plant is likely to be shut down in the second week of September 2015. It is expected to remain off-stream for on month. Plant is located at Mizushima in Japan and has the production capacity of 3,90,000 mt/year.
