Japan based Asahi Kasei is planning to restart its cracker unit after and disrupt outage. The cracker is likely to go on stream by next week. Earlier the unit was shut down in the last week of July due to technical issues. Unit is located at Mizushima in Japan and has the production capacity of 5,70,000 mt/year.
