BASF started construction of chemical plant in Andhra Pradesh

In order to cater the growing needs of chemical plants in India BASF has expanded its capacity in chemical production in India. The company will produce standard and custom-made performance based admixtures.

According to Dr Raman Ramachandran, chairman and managing director, BASF India Limited and head, BASF South Asia, said, “India is a strategic market for BASF and it is important to be able to respond to the local market in a timely manner. The Nellore site, an addition to our existing four construction chemicals plants in India, enables us to stay close to the customers and offer them customized solutions to meet the growing demands for multi-story buildings, long-lasting infrastructure constructions and more energy efficient construction techniques.”
