Recently Chinese government has taken an important decision of imposing anti-dumping duty on acrylic fiber imported from Japan, South Korea and Turkey. The Ministry of Commerce announced that importers of acrylic fiber from these countries will be required to pay a deposit to customs ranging from 6.1% to 17.8% from 2nd April, 2016. About 50% of ACN buyers are from the acrylic fiber industry while acrylonitrile butadiene-styrene accounts for 30% and acrylamide 20%.
