Japan based Mitsubishi Chemical has restarted its cracker unit on Thursday. Earlier the unit was shut down in May and was likely to resume its production in June end but got extended its maintenance period citing issues related to equipment. The u.nit has the production capacity of 5,39,000 tpa of naphtha at Kashima plant in Japan.
