Japan based Mitsubishi Chemical Corp has shut down its cracker unit for maintenance. The unit is based at Kashima in Japan. Unit was shut down 9th of May and is likely to remain off-stream till 30th June 2016. Unit has the production capacity to produce 5,39,000 mt/year.
