Equate Petrochemical Company has shut down its cracker for maintenance. The cracker has the production capacity 850,000 mt/year. The cracker is expected to remain off-line for around 6-7 weeks. The unit is based at Shuaiba in Kuwait and has the production capacity of 8, 50,000 mt/year.
