Petrochemical Corporation of Singapore has shut down its cracker no.2 for brief maintenance period. The decision was taken on back of minor repairing work. The unit is located at at Pulau Merbau in Singapore and has the production capacity to produce ethylene 655,000 mt/year and propylene production 350,000 mt/year.
