Lotte Chemical is planning to restart its cracker in the first week of December 2020. Earlier the unit was shut down abruptly following an explosion occurred in the plants compressor. Tbhe exact cause of the fire could not be ascertained.
Unit is based at Daesan in South Korea and has the production capacity of Ethylene around 1.1 mln mt/year and Propylene capacity around 5,40,000 mt/year.
