There has been heavy production of crude oil by Iraq in the month of December 2015. There has been heavy increase in the output from central and southern fields. Iraq’s crude production from fields in the central and southern region was 4.13 million barrels per day (bpd), according to the final figures announced on Sunday by the ministry.
Iraq is the second largest producer of crude in OPEC nations. It further expects increase in the output from southern fields by 4,00,000 bpd by this year.
