EDC prices plunged in Asia on account of ample amount of material availability and weak demand sentiments from end users.
As per report, CFR Far East Asia prices of EDC were assessed in the range of USD 175-185/mt levels, CFR South East Asia prices were assessed at the level of USD 200-220/mt levels.
Feedstock ethylene prices were assessed at the USD 1240/mt CFR North East Asia levels, CFR South East Asia prices of ethylene were at the USD 1140/mt levels.
