There has been significant decline in EDC prices in Asian market. The experts believe that oversupply of the chemical and ample product availability has been the only reason for this decline in values. CFR South East Asia prices of EDC, were assessed down at the USD 280/mt levels, a week on week fall of USD 10/MT. CFR Far East Asia prices of EDC, were assessed lower at the USD 270/MT levels, a drop of USD 15/MT from the last week. Feedstock ethylene prices, were assessed at the USD 850/MT CFR North East Asia levels, a week on week plunge of USD 50/MT. CFR South East Asia prices of ethylene, were down at the USD 795/MT levels, a tumble of USD 30/MT from the previous week.
