Formosa Plastics Corporation (FPC) a part of Formosa Petrochemical has decided to shutdown its EDC unit for maintenance turnaround. The unit is likely to undergo maintenance in the mid of August 2020. It is expected to remain off-stream for around one month.
Unit is based at Mailiao in Taiwan and has the production capacity of 1.6 mln mt/year.
