Sinopec has shut down its Ethylene unit for maintenance turnaround. The plant, which has a capacity of 180 000 tpy, has also begun maintenance on its 600 000 tpy methanol to olefins unit that will last until 22 October.The revamp aims to remove safety risks at the production units and ensure smooth operation in the next five years.
