Leading petrochemical company of South Korea LG Chem is set to increase its Ethylene production capacity of its naphtha-fed cracker by 2,30,000 mt/year in next three years. The company is likely to spend 251.9 million dollar in the expansion plan. The overall capacity will be boosted to 2.43 million mt/year by 2019.
Also, LG Chem said it will convert one of two polystyrene production lines to produce acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene over first-half 2017.
