Taiwan based Formosa Petrochemical Corp has shut its cracker unit for maintenance turnaround. The unit is likely to remain off-stream for around 45 days.
The unit has the production capacity to produce 7,00,000 mt/year of Ethylene and 3,96,000 mt/year of Propylene. The cracker is likely to resume its operations in the third week of July.
