Taiwanese major petrochemical producer Formosa Chemicals and Fibre Corp (FCFC) are currently operating its Phenol-Acetone plant at full capacity rates.
According to the sources, the company will be shutting its units for 45 days.
The solvents plant which is located in Ningbo, Taiwan comprises of two lines with a combined production capacity of Phenol with 400,000 mt/year and Acetone with 250,000 mt/year.
