European petrochemicals producer Ineos has lifted the force majeure on oxo-alcohols supplies from its plant in Lavera, southeastern France this week
The force majeure was declared late June following a problem in one of the plant's compressors, the source said.
The plant produces butanol and 2-ethyl hexanol and has a capacity of 330,000 mt/year.
Supply in Europe was set to improve in August, with another producer also lifting a force majeure on oxo-alcohols supplies last week.
