Last week the domestic market of Formaldehyde had followed a stable trend at Ahmedabad port. Today there has been significant rise in Formaldehyde prices on back of rise Methanol values in international as well as domestic market. The prices of Formaldehyde were assessed at the level of Rs. 14.50/Kg at Ahmedabad port increased by Rs.1.50/Kg compared to last week’s closing prices.
On other side there has been continuous rise in Methanol prices in domestic market on back of rise in international values. Today Methanol prices were assessed around Rs.24.50/Kg for Kandla and Rs.24.00/Kg for bulk quantity for Mumbai port.
