As per local sources in Taiwan, Formosa Petrochemical Corporation shut its residual fluid catalytic cracker No. 1 due to technical issues and hasn’t yet confirmed the restart date. The cracker unit with a propylene production capacity of 375,000 tons/year was shut in the first week of August.
