Gujarat based Gujarat State Fertilizers Chemical has announced signing of license agreement with Mitsui Chemical Incorporation for setting up a MMA having the production capacity of 64,800 tpa. MCI will develop the process design package, which will enable GSFC to establish the plant. Currently, the entire domestic requirement of MMA is met via imports. With this plant, nearly 80 per cent of the demand will be met through local output, GSFC said.
