Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd reported a huge fire at the petrochemical complex on Sunday morning around 11:30 AM. it is located in the eastern Indian state of West Bengal.
As per the report,the reason behind that fire was a broken gas pipe which spread gas and a fire broke out. Presently the situation is under control and all plants are running normally.
At haldia complex in the eastern Indian state of West Bengal can produce ethylene and propylene of around 700,000 mt/year, 350,000 mt/year respectively.
