Guangxi Huayi New Material Co. (Huayi) will build a new Butanol plant at Huayi's integrated petro-chemical complex in Qinzhou Port, China. The unit will have the production capacity of 300,000 t/y. The start-up date has not been specified yet.
It has selected LP Oxo Selector 10 technology, licensed through Dow and Johnson Matthey (JM), for a new butanol facility. The technology partners provide its licensees customized plant designs, performance warranties, technical support pre- and post-plant start-up, ongoing technology updates, and more.
