To leverage the petrochemical sector in north east region of the country, “Hydrocarbon vision 2030” was organized. Petroleum and natural gas minister Dharmendra Pradhan said in an interview that “To achieve the vision, a collaborative effort of central and state governments is necessary with the determination to bring the developmental shift that the people of North East deserve. This will be a concrete step towards realising our Prime Minister’s vision to develop the North East India in a mission mode,” .The states covered include Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.
