Kaltim Methanol Industries has shut its Methanol plant on 20th December, 2015. The unexpected outage has been due to a mechanical failure at the plant. The plant was under a maintenance turnaround for a period of around 6 weeks from mid-October 2015 to end –November 2015. Plant has production capacity around 660,000mt/year and located at Bontang, Indonesia.
