INEOS declares force majeure at all its Ethylene Oxide plants for maintenance across Europe

One of the world’s leading petrochemical manufacturer INEOS has decided to shut all its Ethylene Oxide plants for maintenance turnaround in from June to September. All its plants located in Europe are likely to undergo major shutdown period. Plants located at  Antwerp, Belgium, and Dorgmagen, Germany will remain offstream for a brief period.

The Antwerp plant has the production capacity of 450,000 mt of EO and 290,000 mt of downstream monoethylene glycol.Dormagen based unit produces 290,000 mt of EO and 150,000 mt of MEG
