Last week Ineos Nitriles has declared force majeure on ACN supplies at its Green Lake plant in Texas. Asian market has been the worst affected by this tightened supply of ACN. The reason behind this shutdown has been shutdown of nearby chemical grade Propylene pipeline owned by ExxonMobil Chemical. This has been the primary source of feedstock for the plant.
