Petrochemical production in Iran will touch the mark of 180 million tonnes in next 10 years in spite of facing sanctions from European nations and USA. The petroleum minister of Iran confirmed in a press conference that with having arrangement of financial resources, the country will reach the production level of 180 million tonnes.
Iran’s petrochemical production is likely to reach 120 million tonnes in the next four years having Propylene production as priority. In this regard the major chemical Methanol production is likely to reach the level of 24 million tonnes from 5 million tonnes n next five years.
