Saudi International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem) declared that operation had resumed at the International Methanol Company (IMC) 1 million mt/year Jubail Methanol plant.
The plant had been shut on October 29, 2015 to perform considerable repairs and maintenance as well as improvements to several critical operating processes.
Based on the shut down from one month, the financial impact is estimated to be 45 million (around USD 12 Million).
