Jurong Aromatics Corp has resumed its refining-petrochemical complex in Singapore after a shutdown of one and half years. The plant was shut in December 2014 on a technical issue and having the value of around US$2.4 billion.
Jurong Aromatics' complex includes a 100,000 barrels-per-day condensate splitter, one of three units that started operations in Asia in 2014 intended at producing paraxylene, raw material for textiles and bottles, to fulfill Chinese stipulation.
