Formosa Petrochemical Corp (FPC) is planning to shut its LDPE for maintenance.According to company sources, the unit is expected to go off-stream by this weekend and is likley to remain shut down for 30 days. Unit is located at Mailiao in Taiwan and has the production capacity of 2,40,000 mt/year.
