South Korea based Lotte Chemical is planning to restart its two naphtha units based at Yeosu within two weeks. Earlier the units were shutdown due to technical faults. The operating rates were reduced to 75% of its original capacity. Before shut down units were operating at reduced rates. The shutdown has resulted into lost of about 45,000 tonnes of naphtha, as per company’s spokesperson.
