Petrochemicals Malaysia which is subsidiary of Idemitsu Kosan Co. plans to shut its Polystyrene unit for maintenance turnaround. Earlier the unit was scheduled to remain shut down in the month of October 2017. The unit will remain off-stream for around 6 weeks.
Unit is based at Pasir Gudang in Malaysia and has the production capacity of 1,20,000 mt/year.
