MEGlobal has nominated its Asian contract price for the month of August. The prices nominated are USD 1000/mt CFR Asia, lowered by USD 100/mt from its July nomination. The other major producer of MEG, SABIC has also nominated its ACP for the month of August. Its nominated price are USD 1020/mt CFR Asia again lowered by USD 100/mt in compare to July nominated values.
There has been significant lowering in Ethylene values since last two weeks. Values for Ethylene have lowered by 15% due to oversupply and drop in demand.
