Last week International prices of MEG have decreased on the back of poor regional buying interest coupled with sluggish downstream PET and Polyester demand and pricing sentiment.
On Friday CFR China prices of MEG were evaluated in the range of USD 580-600 /mt turned down by USD 10/mt in compares to previous week.
CFR China prices of Ethylene were assessed at the level of USD 1085/mt. FOB Korea prices were assessed at the level of USD 1020/mt, which is stable from last week
Today, Domestic prices of MEG were assessed at the level of Rs.46/kg at Mumbai port.
