Sinopec SABIC Tianjin has restarted its MEG production. Earlier the unit was shut down for an annual maintenance programme. Unit is based at Tianjin in China and has the production capacity of 3, 80,000 mt/year. SSTPC is a 50-50 joint venture between China’s state-owned energy firm Sinopec and Saudi Arabia’s petrochemical giant SABIC.
