South Korea based Lotte Chemical has shutdown its MEG unit no2 for maintenance turnaround. Lotte Chemical is South Korea’s largest MEG producer and has three MEG untis at its site. The three units are based at Yeosu and two MEG units at Daesan. The units in Yeosu have a combined MEG capacity of 400,000 tonnes/year and the units in Daesan have a combined MEG capacity of 650,000 tonnes/year.
