Canada based Methanex has awarded contract of its Methanol project at Geismar, Louisiana in US. Canada-based Methanex awarded KBR a reimbursable engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) contract to provide front end engineering design (FEED) services for a 5,000 tonne/day world-scale methanol plant at Geismar, KBR said.
The FEED work is expected to be completed over the next 12 months, with a final investment decision (FID) expected by mid-2019
