OQ Methanol has shutdown its Methanol unit for maintenance turnaround. Earlier the unit was shutdown in the month of June owing some technical issues ans was again restarted in July after three weeks.
Unit is based at Salalah, previously known as Salalah Methanol. OQ Methanol is part of the recently formed OQ group and also includes its trading arm previously known as Oman Trading International.
