Petronas Chemical Group has restarted its Methanol unit no2 after a schedule of brief maintenance. Earlier the unit was shut down on 7th June for a period of 2 weeks. Now it has resumed its operations. Unit is based at Labuan in Malaysia and has the production capacity of 1.7 mln mt/year.
