Mitsui Chemcial has shutdown its MIBK unit for maintenance turnaround. The plant is located at Iwakuni-Ohtake Works, in the Yamaguchi territory of Japan. It largely has a production capacity of 30,000 mt/year. The expected time period for the plant's shut down has not been specified.
