Mitsubishi Chemical is planning to recommence production at its No. 2 cracker in early February 2016 it was an unplanned shutdown and was shut on January 22, 2016 due to a technical issue. It is positioned at Kashima, Japan, and having the ethylene production capacity of 526,000 mt/year and propylene capacity of 260,000 mt/year.
