Mitsubishi Chemical is planning to shut its MIBK unit for maintenance turnaround. The unit is likely to go off-stream in May 2016. According to sources the unit will remain off-stream for around 4-5 weeks.
Unit is located at Mizushima in Japan and has the production capacity of 20,000 mt/year.
