Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company, Mitsubishi Corp and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries have signed an agreement with National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Ltd, for the construction of Methanol and DME plant in Trinidad and Tobago. The project to be located at La Brea, United Industrial Estate and is likely to get completed in June 2018. The total investment for the project is expected to be around 1 billion dollar. The production capacity of plant to produce Methanol is 1 million tonne/year and 20,000 tonne/year of Diethyl Ester.
