China based Yangmei Hengtong Chemical has shut down its MTO plant unexpectedly on Monday due to power supply issues. There has been continuous decline in Methanol values in China market on back of weakening of demand from downstream industry.
Plant is located at Lingyi in Shandong and has the capacity of 1,50,000 mt/year of Ethylene and 1,50,000 mt/year of Propylene.
