Jiangsu Sailboat has shut down its Methanol-to-Olefins unti for maintenance turnaround. The unit was shutdown in the first week of December and is expected to resume its production on 8th Janyary 2021. The MTO unit has production capacity of 8,30,000 tonnes/year. Jiangsu Sailboat is one of China's largest buyers of methanol, with an estimated demand of 2.4mn t/yr for domestically produced and imported methanol.
