On 22 October, Louisiana Gov. and Syngas Energy declared that company is planning to invest $360 million in new Methanol plant which is located at St.James Parish, Lauisiana. After securing permits and making a final investment decision, Syngas anticipates beginning construction in 2Q, 2016, with completion expected at the end of 2018 and an Initial production capacity of 500,000mt/year.
