Formosa Petrochemicals is planning to restart its no3 cracker. Earlier the unit was shut down in mid of August for annual maintenance turnaround schedule. The unit is likely to remain off-stream for around 6-7 weeks. Unit is based at Mailiao in Taiwna and has the production capacity of ethylene around 1.2 million mt/year, propylene production capacity of 600,000 mt/year and butadiene production capacity of 176,000 mt/year.
